Dr. Shaw was born and raised in Greensboro and graduated from Page High School. He received his BA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and his MD from Wake Forest University School of Medicine. He completed an Internal Medicine Internship and Residency at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, where he was also Assistant Chief of Medicine, Instructor of Internal Medicine. Dr. Shaw joined Guilford Medical in 2005.
Dr. Shaw is married and has 3 children. He enjoys golf and water sports.
