A Georgia native, Dr. Scott Holwerda received his undergraduate training at Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama. He then returned to Georgia to attend Mercer University School of Medicine in Savannah. He completed his Internal Medicine Internship and Residency at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. He is newly married and looking forward to starting a family in the Greensboro area. He enjoys college football and travel.
