Dr. Michael Zheng, D.O
Internal Medicine

Dr. Zheng received his Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, with minors in Chemistry and Religious Studies, and earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Campbell University School of Osteopathic Medicine in 2023. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at Cone Health in Greensboro.

Before medical school, Dr. Zheng spent three years managing a research laboratory at UNC-Chapel Hill, and he has co-authored published research in cardiac cell biology, including work appearing in the journal Nature. He is a member of the American College of Physicians and the American Medical Association.

Dr. Zheng is assuming care of Dr. Daniel Paterson’s patient panel to ensure continuity for his patients.
